The client came from Ireland who operated a large psychology consultancy company for many years. They provide psychology consultant services, psychology education courses, online psychology resources, and psychology academic communication. The client wants to build a professional psychology academic PHP web-based platform to offer psychology knowledge sharing, online psychology courses, psychology industry news or information, discussion forum, etc.

Their project development team originally set up in India, however, they found that Indian team did not care them and the work efficient was low. Finally, the client came to us to help them to continue their project.

The website adopted isolated front end and back end structures which followed Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) methodologies. It is extremely convenient for website expanding and maintenance. We chose pseudo-static technology for all website pages. Pseudo-static is that static page use URL rewrite methods to achieve removing the parameters of static pages. The reason why we chose pseudo-static method was pseudo-static website pages can be indexed and search easily by search engines, the pseudo-static website was SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly. We used JQuery and JavaScript to generate dynamic functionality. In order to realize a part of website updating immediately, we use Ajax to reduce server’s load.
