Resume and Interview Web Application
“We take pleasure in thanking Techome for developing the resume and interview web application. Their work ability and strategy towards this project was outstanding. We wish Techome the very best in competing in the web development outsourcing market. Their professionalism is noteworthy.” -- Client Testimonial.
“We don’t just offer customer service, we provide superior client service.” – Techome Team Motto
Overview:
A recruiting company located in Canada recently sought help from Techome China. The client wanted a web application added to their enterprise content management system. This web application development project consisted of implementing a resume database system and an interview record database system.
Goal:
By implementing the resume and interview web application, the client hoped that this web development would reduce miscommunications between recruiters and candidates.
Specifications:
This web application development project is divided into two parts: resume database system and interview record system.
The resume database system includes the following modules: career goal & objective, basic personal information, education & training, work & project experience, self assessment, reference, and customizable comments.
The interview record database system includes the following modules: interview appointments, interview results, candidate ranking, candidate resumes -- from the resume database system --, and customizable comments.
Technology Used: ASP.NET, C#, SQL server 2000, Java Script, HTML, etc …
Challenges:
Techome engineers had to study the enterprise content management system’s source code in order to begin the web application development. Our engineering found several security vulnerabilities with client’s enterprise content management system. Instead of starting the resume and interview web application development project right away, Techome team worked on support and maintenance for the entire enterprise content management system.
After the web development project completed, the client encountered another problem. Recruiters used different methods and styles to store resumes and candidate information that it was difficult to centralize the data. Techome team suggested the client to hire interns from colleges to consolidate all information.
Results:
Recruiters were able to organize candidates, projects, and appointments much more efficiently. With chances for miscommunications greatly reduced and information consolidated, the recruiting company was able to add speed and credibility to their company.
