The client is a lead enterprise in America and concentrates his business on local textile industry market. The company provides support foreign business partners/ companies to know the fabric market information or news of Northern American textile industry and market.

The client wanted to develop a special textile system just for their special business needs which was web based SharePoint project development with following business requirements:

- Creating / deleting new manufacturer – This functionality should allow users to add new manufacturers or delete existed manufacturers from their account.

- Updating manufacturer information – This functionality should allow users to input, change or even delete manufacturer information.

- Textile product information management – Users should have authorization to manage textile products in their accounts. They can add new textile product information, update existed textile products information, or delete the textile products which they are not interested any more.

- Textile product search functionality – Users can search their interested textile products by using general search or advanced search functionality.

- Textile manufacturer search functionality – Users can search their business partners by using textile manufacturer general search or advanced search functionality.

Our web developers generated a certain specific API to solve the data transferring problem during web based connection. As the system was designed on the basic of web based technology, we implement the modules through several different web parts instead of one complex web part. The system framework was built more rational in the way of different web parts integration.

We adopted an easy and convenient method to address the problems which caused by the changing of system environment. The project development team saved value of deployment information through self-defined deployment files. When the operation environment changed, we need only to change value of deployment files instead of recompiling codes.

We established the system on 3 layers construction and adopted Object Oriented Design idea.
